Maisamma

Maisamma is a goddess or a deity who is worshipped in some parts of India. She is believed to be a protector of crops and cattle.

Now, imagine you have a big farm with lots of vegetables and fruits growing on it. You have cows, goats, and chickens too. But, sometimes bad things can happen like a disease and pests can come and eat all your crops, or a wild animal can come and attack your cows.

To prevent these things from happening, people pray to Maisamma, who they believe will protect their crops and animals from harm. They offer prayers, flowers, and sometimes even animals to her, to show that they respect her and seek her blessings. In this way, they hope to have a successful harvest and keep their cattle safe and healthy.

So just like how your parents take care of you and protect you from harm, Maisamma is like a big protective parent for farmers and their crops and animals.
