Manning equation

Imagine you're playing with a hose, and you want to know how fast the water is coming out of it. The manning equation is like a math formula that can help you figure that out!

This equation uses a few different things to calculate the speed of the water, like how wide the hose is, how steep it is, and how rough the inside of the hose is.

It might seem confusing, but each part of the equation is like a piece of information that we need to know to figure out how fast the water is flowing.
