Manti (dumpling)

Manti is like a little pillow of yummy goodness! Imagine a soft, doughy blanket wrapped around a yummy filling. That's what manti is like!

First, someone makes a dough using flour, water, and sometimes eggs. They knead the dough until it's nice and smooth. Then they roll it out really thin and cut it into small squares.

Next, they mix up some filling. Usually, it's ground meat, onions, and some spices. They put a little spoonful of the filling in the center of each square of dough.

Now, here's the fun part! They fold up the edges of the dough to make a little pocket around the filling. They pinch the top together so the filling can't fall out.

Finally, they cook the manti by boiling them in water or steaming them. Once they're done, they serve them up with some yummy sauce or dip.

And that's it! That's what manti is. It's like a little doughy pillow filled with meaty goodness. Yum!
