Manure spreader

A manure spreader is a tool that farmers use to spread animal poop on their fields. Imagine you have a big pile of poop that you want to spread out over a big field. Now you can't just throw it all over the place- that's not very helpful for your plants. But what you can do is put the poop into a machine called a manure spreader!

The manure spreader looks kind of like a big trailer with a wheel at each corner. There's a big hole at the back where you dump the poop in. On the inside, there are paddles or fins that spin around when the manure spreader moves. The paddles scoop up the poop as they turn, and fling it out the back of the manure spreader in little pieces.

So as the farmer drives the manure spreader over the field, the poop gets evenly spread out across the whole area. This is really helpful because it's a great source of nutrition for the plants. Just like how you need good food to grow, plants need good nutrients in the soil to grow big and strong. So by using a manure spreader, farmers are able to give their plants the nutrients they need to grow beautiful and healthy!
