Marabou (ethnicity)

Marabou is an ethnic group from East Africa. They come from countries like Kenya and Tanzania. They generally speak Swahili and many other local languages. They are usually nomadic and live in small groups. They are a traditional people and believe in their customs and beliefs. They live in tents and rely on their environment for survival. They hunt, gather and fish to get food, also trade goods and services with each other and with people from other communities. Marabous celebrate their culture and religion and stick together in difficult times.
