Marian litanies

Okay, so you know how there are different prayers that people say to talk to God or ask for help? Well, Marian litanies are like a special kind of prayer that people say to talk to Mary, who is Jesus' mom in the Bible.

A litany is a prayer that has a bunch of different things for people to say about Mary, kind of like when your mom tells you to say something nice about your grandma, your dad, your brother, etc. So, the Marian litany has a bunch of different things that people can say to talk to Mary and ask for her help.

Some of the things that people might say in a Marian litany include asking Mary to pray for them, thanking Mary for being a good example, and asking Mary for help with different problems in their lives. It's a way for people to feel closer to Mary and to ask for her help in their daily lives.

People have been saying Marian litanies for a really long time, and they can be said in different languages and in different parts of the world. But, no matter where they are said or what language they are said in, they are all about asking for Mary's help and feeling closer to her.
