Markov chain Monte Carlo

Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) is a way of using math to help you find answers when you don't have all the information you need. It uses a process called a "Markov Chain" to generate random numbers that help you solve a problem. The numbers are combined with a "Monte Carlo" method which uses probability and statistics to help find the best answer. It's a way of using math to find an answer when you don't have enough data.
