Marshall Keeble
Marshall Keeble was a man who lived a long time ago and he was important because he helped teach many people about God and Jesus! Marshall was born in the United States in 1878 and he became a preacher when he was grown up. Marshall was very good at talking to people about the Bible and how they could be more like Jesus.
When Marshall grew up, a lot of people didn't think it was okay for Black people to be preachers, but Marshall didn't let that stop him. He went all over the country preaching and teaching, and he helped start many churches that we still have today.
Marshall knew a lot about the Bible and could remember many verses by heart. He would stand up in front of a lot of people and tell them stories about Jesus and how to be good people. He would talk in a way that made it easy for everyone to understand, even if they had never heard of Jesus before.
Marshall Keeble is an important person in our history because he helped many people learn about God and Jesus, and he did it at a time when it wasn't easy for Black people to be preachers. Even though he is no longer alive, we can still learn from his wisdom and teachings today.
