ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Marsquake

A Marsquake is like an earthquake on the planet Mars. It is when the ground shakes, just like it does during an earthquake. But on the Red Planet, these quakes are a lot less frequent than on Earth and so scientists have not been able to accurately measure or study them. To help us understand how these quakes are formed, scientists have made special machines to detect them. They measure tiny vibrations on the surface and help us understand what's happening deep inside the planet.
