Mashup (book)

Imagine you have two toys - a car and a train. You really like playing with both of them, but sometimes you wish you could make them into one toy. Mashups are kind of like that - but with songs or stories instead of toys.

A mashup book takes two or more different stories (like Cinderella and The Three Little Pigs) and puts them together to make a brand new story. It's like the storyteller took the characters and settings from both stories and made a new adventure for them.

Sometimes, the mashup book will change parts of the original stories to fit the new one. For example, maybe the three little pigs live in a castle instead of just houses, because that's where Cinderella lives.

Mashup books can be a lot of fun to read because they combine things you already know and love into something completely new and exciting!
