ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Matsya Nyaya

Matsya Nyaya is a concept in Indian philosophy where people compare it to a fisherman catching fish. Just like how a fisherman catches fish and keeps them in a basket, in the same way, Matsya Nyaya means that people who are stronger might take advantage of weaker people and sometimes treat them unfairly.

For example, if a big brother is picking on his little sister and taking her toy, then it's like the big brother is using Matsya Nyaya. It's not fair to the little sister, just like how it's not fair for the fish to be caught by the fisherman.

It's important that we understand Matsya Nyaya and try not to use it in our lives. We should treat everyone fairly and equally, no matter how strong or weak they are.
