ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Matthew 6

Matthew 6 is a part of a book called the Bible. The Bible tells stories about God and how we should live our lives. In Matthew 6, Jesus is talking to people and telling them how to pray and how to be a good person.

Jesus tells people that when they pray, they should not do it to show off in front of other people. Instead, they should pray quietly by themselves or with others who believe in God. He also tells people to not repeat the same words over and over again, but speak from their heart.

Jesus then talks about things like giving to people who are less fortunate than you. He says it's better to give in secret rather than bragging about it to others.

Finally, Jesus talks about not worrying too much about things like food or clothing. He encourages people to trust in God, who will take care of their needs. He reminds people that worrying doesn't add any time to their lives, and it only makes them unhappy.

Overall, Matthew 6 is about being humble, generous, and trusting in God, instead of showing off, being selfish, or worrying too much. And Jesus often reminds people that doing these things will bring them happiness and peace.
