Mauritian Creoles

Mauritian Creoles are people from the island of Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean near Africa. They are descendants of the people who first arrived on the island, mostly from Africa and Asia. They speak a language called creole, which is a mix of French, English, and African and Asian languages. Creole has lots of different words, expressions, and even gestures, which makes it fun to learn!
