Measure theory

Measure theory is a way of dealing with sets, collections of things, and trying to understand them better. It helps us figure out how to measure sets, and how to add, subtract, or compare them.

Imagine you have three different piles of candy. You can use measure theory to measure the piles - count how many pieces of candy are in each pile, or figure out how much they weigh. Then, if you have two different piles of candy and you want to compare them, measure theory can help you to do that, too. You can figure out which pile is bigger, or which one is heavier.

Measure theory is like a map that helps us to measure and understand sets. It's a way to make it easier to add, subtract, and compare collections of things.
