Mechanical joint

Hey kiddo! So, when two pieces of something need to stick together, like two Lego blocks, we usually have to snap or glue them together, right? But sometimes, we don't want to use glue or anything else that might be hard to get off later. That's where a mechanical joint comes in!

A mechanical joint is a way to connect two things using only their shapes and how they fit together. Imagine putting a puzzle piece into its matching spot - that's kind of like a mechanical joint. It's all about making one thing fit snugly and securely into another thing without any added glue or other material.

There are lots of different types of mechanical joints. Some are as simple as a little tab that sticks out of one piece and fits into a matching hole in another piece. Others use screws or bolts to hold things together. But no matter what type of mechanical joint is used, the goal is always the same: to create a strong, durable connection between two objects without any extra materials needed.

And that's pretty much all there is to it, kiddo! Mechanical joints are just a way to connect things without using glue or any other sticky stuff. Just like how puzzle pieces fit together, mechanical joints make sure that everything stays in place and works the way we want it to.
