ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Media literacy

Media literacy is about understanding how information is created and shared. It's about being able to recognize what kinds of information are shared (news, entertainment, ads, etc.), where it comes from, and why it was shared. Media literacy also means understanding how different kinds of media (TV, radio, internet, etc.) work and how they affect our lives. By being media literate, you can make informed decisions about which media to watch, listen to, and trust.
