ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Media policy

Media policy is basically like a set of rules or guidelines for the media, such as TV shows, newspapers, online websites, etc. It is meant to help make sure that the content produced by the media is safe, responsible, and appropriate. For example, media policy might include rules on what you can and can't show in a TV show or newspaper, like how movies might have a rating system and certain age groups are only allowed to watch certain movies. It might also include rules about where and when certain types of content can be shown, or even specific rules about what kind of language is and isn't ok to use. Basically, media policy is like a set of rules to make sure that whatever you see and hear from the media is safe and appropriate.
