ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Medical imaging

Medical imaging is like taking a picture of your body, but it takes pictures using special machines that are really strong. The strong machines send out energy waves, which bounce off the tissues inside your body. Those rebounds make a picture which looks like a normal picture, but it has special information about what's inside your body. Doctors can use these pictures to learn more about what is going on inside you.
