Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency

Hi there! Do you know what medicine is? Medicine is something that doctors give you when you are not feeling well to help you get better.

Now, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency or MHRA is a group of people who make sure that all the medicines and healthcare products that we use are safe, high quality and do what they are supposed to do.

Just like your mommy or daddy make sure you don't eat bad things, the MHRA makes sure that the medicines and healthcare products don't harm you or make you sicker.

They do this by testing and checking all the new medicines and healthcare products before they are sold to make sure they work and are safe. If they find something wrong with a medicine, they can tell the company to change it or even stop it from being sold.

So in short, the MHRA is like a big group of people who keep an eye on all the medicines and healthcare products to make sure that they help us feel better and not make us feel worse.
