Medieval Greek

Medieval Greek is the language that was spoken in Greece during the Middle Ages (roughly 500-1450 AD). It is related to theAncient Greek language, but it's a bit different, because it changed over time. Medieval Greek was used for writing, speaking, and in church services. It was also used as the language of trade, science, philosophy, and medicine. Medieval Greek is different from modern Greek, which is the language spoken in Greece today.
