Megascale engineering

Megascale engineering is when engineers use huge machines, like bulldozers and cranes, to move very large amounts of rock, soil, and sand in order to build big structures. These structures can be tunnels, bridges, buildings, roads, dams, levees and reservoirs, to name a few. The machines are used to dig, carry, move, and place the materials, so that the engineers can build the structure they have designed.
