Space manufacturing

Space manufacturing is when people design and build machines and other products in space. To do this, astronauts use materials found in space, like rocks, dust, and gases. They also use machines and tools to cut, shape, and assemble these materials into things like satellites, rockets, and electronics. By doing this in space, far away from the Earth, astronauts can create things they couldn't do on the ground.
