Meltdown (security vulnerability)

Meltdown is a type of computer security vulnerability. It is a way for bad actors to get access to information and programs that they should not have access to. This can happen when they send a special type of code to a computer with a security flaw. This code tricks the computer into giving up information it was not supposed to give out. This can be very dangerous because the bad actors can steal, change, or delete sensitive information.
