Memil-muk

Hey there kiddo! Do you know what a "memil-muk" is? It's actually a Korean food made from buckwheat.

So, imagine a plant called buckwheat. When you grind the seeds of this plant into flour, you can use it to make lots of different things like noodles, pancakes, and even a type of jelly called memil-muk.

Now, to make memil-muk, the buckwheat flour is first mixed with cold water until it becomes a liquid. Then, this liquid is boiled until it thickens. Once it's thick, it's poured into a mold and chilled until it becomes a jelly-like substance.

Memil-muk is usually served with a spicy sauce and some shredded vegetables, kind of like a salad. It's a healthy and refreshing food, perfect for hot days.

So there you have it, kiddo. Memil-muk is a jiggly, yummy jelly made from buckwheat!
