Mendicant

A mendicant is someone who begs for necessities like food, shelter or clothing. Imagine you and your family have no food, and you have nowhere to stay; you might ask for help from other people by begging on the street so you can have something to eat or have a place to sleep. A mendicant is like that person who is asking for help when they have no other means of getting what they need. They are just like you, asking for help when they don't have any other option.
