Messianism

Messianism is the belief that someone is the chosen person to save humanity. This person is known as the Messian, or the savior. People who follow messianism believe that the Messian will bring either peace or justice to the world. This person could be a religious figure or a political leader. Messianists often think that their chosen Messian will help make their lives better.
