Metalcut

Metalcut is when you use a special tool to cut pieces of metal into different shapes and sizes. Imagine you have a big piece of metal, just like your play-dough, but much harder! To cut it into the shape you want, you need to use a tool to chop it up into smaller pieces.

This tool is really strong and sharp, like a big pair of scissors, but for metal! The person controlling the tool has to be very careful so they don't get hurt, just like when you use scissors or a knife.

After they've cut out the pieces of metal into the right shapes, they might need to smooth off any rough edges or bumps left from the tool. This is called 'finishing' the metalcut, and it makes the metal look nicer and safer to handle.

Once the metal is cut and finished, it can be used for lots of different things like building machines, making cars or even creating decorations for your home. Metalcutting is really cool because it means we can make metal do whatever we want it to do!
