Metallic bond

A metallic bond is like when two pieces of metal are stuck together. It is an invisible bond between the atoms in the metal. The metal atoms share their outermost electrons with each other, which makes them all join together like glue sticks. This makes the metal strong enough to hold itself together so it doesn't break apart easily. The bond is very strong and makes sure that the metal stays together.
