Metallic mean

Metallic mean is a special kind of average that we use when there are lots of really big numbers and really small numbers. It tells us what the midpoint between all the different numbers is. To find the metallic mean, we add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers we added up. The result is the metallic mean. It tells us what the middle number is and can make comparing numbers easier.
