Ratio

A ratio is a way of comparing two numbers. For example, if you have 8 pieces of candy, you can compare it to 10 pieces of candy by using a ratio. The ratio of 8 to 10 is 8:10. This means that there are 8 pieces of candy compared to 10 pieces of candy. Ratios are also written as fractions, such as 8/10. This means there are 8 parts out of 10 parts. Ratios are often used to describe how big (or small) something is compared to something else.
