Metallization pressure

Metallization pressure is the pressure of a gas that can help turn a material into a metal. Think of it like blowing up a balloon. If you put in too much air, the balloon might pop and turn into a metal. The same thing is true with metals: if you put in too much gas (called metallization pressure), it can make the metal become solid.
