Method of loci is a way of remembering things that uses pictures, visuals, and fun images to help you remember them better. Here's how it works: you think of a place that you know well, like your house. Then, you pick out a few important things in each room (or maybe just one or two things that stand out). Now, imagine a story or a path that takes you to all the important places in your house in a certain order. Each important place can now be thought of as a "locus"—a place that contains a certain important thing. So, for example, if the first place in your path is your bedroom, that is the first locus. Then, when you want to remember something, you can take your path and imagine a picture in each locus that shows what you want to remember. You can make it as crazy, colorful, or silly as you want—anything to help you remember it better. This is the method of loci!
