Metric (mathematics)

Metric (math) means measuring things. It's like when we try to measure how tall something is with a ruler, or when we use a scale to measure how much something weighs. But with metric (math), we usually measure things like shapes, curves, and lines. For example, we can use metric (math) to measure how long, wide, or tall something is. It helps us figure out how far away two points are from each other or what's the angle of a curve or corner.
