Minkowski distance

Minkowski distance is a way of measuring how far two numbers are from each other. For example, if we wanted to measure the distance between the numbers 2 and 6, we could use the Minkowski distance. This works by adding together the difference between the two numbers in every direction. In this case, the difference between 2 and 6 is 4, so the Minkowski distance between 2 and 6 would be 4.
