Metrication in Canada

Metrication in Canada is all about making things simpler and easier to understand when it comes to measuring things like length, weight, and temperature. Instead of using old-fashioned units like inches, pounds, and degrees Fahrenheit, Canadians are encouraged to use metric units such as centimeters, grams, and degrees Celsius. In order to make this switch, all sorts of different things had to be changed – from road signs and speed limits to grocery store scales and recipe measurements. But over time, most Canadians have gotten used to the metric system and find it much more logical and straightforward than the confusing mishmash of units that used to be used. Plus, it makes things easier when you're traveling or doing business with other countries that already use the metric system!
