Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group

Okay kiddo, so Michigan State University is a big school where people can learn about lots of different things. One of the things they study is history, which means they learn about things that happened a long time ago.

A long time ago, there was a war in Vietnam. Lots of people didn't like that war, and some of them wanted to help make things better for the Vietnamese people who were affected by it. So, some people who were teachers and students at Michigan State University decided to form a group to help with that.

They called it the Vietnam Advisory Group, which means they were giving advice to people in Vietnam about how to make things better. They did things like sending books and medicine to the Vietnamese people, and they also helped some Vietnamese people come to study at Michigan State University.

The Vietnam Advisory Group was important because it showed that people cared about other people, even if they lived really far away. It also showed that education and learning can help make the world a better place.
