MicroLED

Microled, also known as micrometer scale light emitting diode, is an improved type of light emitting diode (LED) that, while working in the same way, is much smaller than a regular LED. A regular LED is about the size of a pencil eraser, but a microled can be as small as a grain of sand! This makes them especially useful for creating extremely small and clear video displays that can be used in phones, smartwatches, and other electronic gadgets. Microleds are also brighter and more energy-efficient than regular LEDs, and they can last longer, meaning that electronic devices that use them will last longer too.
