Microbial art is art created by making pictures or designs using living microorganisms (tiny organisms that are too small to see with the naked eye). These organisms can be grown on agar or other growth mediums in petri dishes, and when several different types of living organisms are mixed together, they can create interesting patterns, shapes, and illustrations. It's kind of like painting with lots of different colors of paint, but instead of paint, you're using different microorganisms!
