Microfiltration

Microfiltration is like using a strainer to filter things. Just like how you put pasta in a strainer to get out the water, microfiltration uses a very small strainer to separate tiny particles from liquids or gases.

But instead of a strainer with big holes, a microfilter has really tiny holes that are thousands of times smaller than a human hair! These tiny holes only let really small particles through, like bacteria or other tiny materials that might be in the liquid or gas.

This process can be used in a lot of different industries. For example, in the food industry, it might be used to remove any bacteria or other particles from liquid food before it is packaged and sold. Or, it can be used to clean up water and remove pollutants before it is released back into nature.

Basically, microfiltration is a way to clean up and purify liquids or gases by trapping tiny particles in a really small strainer.
