Reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is a process that filters out harmful particles from water. It works like a sieve: the water is forced through a very fine filter that traps the bad particles and allows the good water to pass through. The clean water then flows out of the filter, while the bad particles stay inside. Reverse osmosis is used in some homes to make water safe to drink.
