Microfossils

Microfossils are like tiny, tiny bones or shells from animals that lived a very long time ago. They're so small that you need a special microscope to see them. Microfossils can be found in rocks or other things that have been buried underground for millions and millions of years. Scientists study microfossils to learn more about what animals and plants were like a long time ago, and how they might have evolved over time. It's pretty amazing that we can learn so much from these teeny, tiny fossils!
