Microscopy is a way to use special tools called microscopes to look at things that are really small (things that are smaller than what we can see with just our eyes). Microscopes use lenses (like the lenses in a pair of glasses) to make the small things look big enough so that we can see them. Microscopy can help us learn more about very small things, like tiny organisms, the cells in our body, and even things that are even smaller than that. With a microscope, a scientist can learn all kinds of neat things about the things they study.
