Microsoft Windows

Microsoft Windows is a type of software, or set of instructions on a computer, that helps us use our devices (like our phone, laptop, or tablet). It is made by Microsoft and runs on devices that have it installed. Windows helps us control and use our devices: we can play games, do work, search for things, communicate with others, and more. To open Windows, start the device, and look for the Windows logo - usually it's a white four-pane window that's blue, green, purple, and/or orange. Simply click on the logo, and Windows will open!
