Midi-Pyrénées

Midi-Pyrénées is a place in France where people live. It's in the middle part of the country, and it's called "Midi" because it used to be really far south, but then they changed the borders of the country and it wasn't so south anymore. It's named after two big mountains called the Pyrénées that are nearby.

There are a lot of different things to see and do in Midi-Pyrénées. There are big cities like Toulouse where you can go shopping and see a lot of cool buildings. You can also go to smaller towns like Albi and see old churches and castles. There are also a lot of outdoor things to do, like hiking in the mountains or going kayaking on the rivers.

The people who live in Midi-Pyrénées speak a language called Occitan. It's kind of like French but it sounds different and some words are different too. Some people speak just Occitan, and some people speak both Occitan and French.

Overall, Midi-Pyrénées is a very beautiful and interesting place where a lot of different people live and do different things.
