Milewski's typology

Milewski's typology is a way to group words based on how they are spelled and where the sounds are in the word. Think of it like sorting the colors of a rainbow.

First, we look at the vowels in each word. These are the letters that make the sounds "a, e, i, o, u." We group words based on how many vowels they have, and where those vowels are in the word. For example, if a word has two vowels next to each other, we put it in a certain group. If a word has two vowels that are not next to each other, we put it in a different group.

Next, we look at the consonants in each word. These are all the other letters that are not vowels. We group words based on the way these consonants sound. For example, we might group words that start with the same sound, or words that end with the same sound.

By using Milewski's typology, we can sort words into different groups based on their spelling and sound patterns. This can help us learn how to spell and pronounce words better, and it can also help us understand how words are related to each other.
