Military order (society)

A military order is a group of people who act like an army, but they aren't part of a country's official military. Instead, they have their own organization and leaders. These orders were very popular in medieval times when knights and noble warriors would band together to protect and defend their land and their beliefs.

Think of it as a group of friends who all want to protect each other and their homes. They band together and create rules that they all follow, like being brave and loyal to their leader. This leader is usually chosen because they are the strongest fighter, the wisest teacher, or the richest person who can pay for everything.

These orders would often have their own special uniforms or symbols to show who they were and what they stood for. They would go on missions or quests to fight against enemies that threatened their way of life.

Even though military orders aren't as popular now, some still exist, and they continue to uphold the values and traditions that were important to knights and warriors in the past.
