Military surplus

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes when people finish using things, they don't need them anymore? Well, the military is kinda like that too! They have a lot of stuff that they can't use or don't need anymore, like clothes and equipment.

But instead of just throwing them away, they sell them to other people who might need them. These things are called "military surplus."

Sometimes people buy military surplus because they like how it looks, or they want to use it for camping or hiking. Other times, people might buy it because they need it for their job, like if they work outside or in construction.

So basically, military surplus is when the military sells their extra things to other people who can use them. It's a way to recycle things and make sure they don't go to waste!
