ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Milk bank

A milk bank is a special place where big-hearted moms and dads can donate extra breastmilk to help other babies who need it. Sometimes babies are born too early or are sick and can't drink regular milk. These babies need special milk that helps them grow strong and healthy. The milk bank collects all the extra breastmilk from the big-hearted moms and dads and then carefully tests, pasteurizes, and prepares it to be given to the babies who need it. Just like how you go to a bank to put your money in and then someone takes care of it for you, moms and dads can go to a milk bank to donate extra milk and someone takes care of it for the babies who need it.
