Millennium Foundation
Ok kiddo, so the Millennium Foundation is a group of grown-ups who want to help make the world a better place for everyone. They started in the year 2000, which was a really special year because it was the beginning of a new millennium (that means 1,000 years).
The Foundation wants to help solve big problems like poverty, hunger, and lack of education. They work with other grown-up groups and people all over the world to come up with ideas and solutions to make these problems go away.
One way they do this is by giving money to other groups who have good ideas to make the world better. These groups might be trying to build schools in poor countries, or find ways to make sure everyone has enough food to eat.
