Milling cutter

Hello! Have you ever played with Playdoh and used a cookie cutter to make shapes out of it?
Well think of a milling cutter like a special cookie cutter that is used to shape metal or other materials instead of playdoh.
It has sharp teeth or edges that remove material as it spins around in a machine.
The shape of the cutter's teeth determines the shape of the object being cut.
So, a round cutter will make round shapes in the material, while a square cutter will make square shapes.
Milling cutters are used to make all sorts of things like car parts, airplane parts, and tools.
Pretty cool, huh?
